I was installed two EZ2500 on 2002 Lexus RX300 and 2006 Toyota Solara.Both cars

doesnot start when cold. Both cars  have new battery.I have use voltage sense.

I was tried icrease Start timer for 1 sec. .Remote Starter tried to start car 3 times by 1sec. but nothing

then RS turn off..With key all OK.

Sometime RS working (if not too cold) but I have to use the remote transmitter closely to cars,

about  3 feet from cars.

Please  do somebody have idea?

The solara most likely needs the 2nd start wire (BLACK / YELLOW) to help with cold start..did you connect that? (needs to be relay isolated)

As far as the 02 lexus this does not have a 2nd start so it is another problem.

Does it start ok with the key when cold???  If so you probably will need to hook up the tach wire and program it..problem solved..if not the vehicle may need service.

As far as how far away the remote is will have no effect on the way the vehicle starts..in other words as long as the remote signal is being recieved by the RS unit...it should work..the unit can not tell the difference with the distance of the remote control..either you are within range..or not. If you need more range that's another issue.

Get back with more info if you require any other help.
