Hey everyone!!  I'm new to the forum and like what I've been seeing...........  I installed a Pioneer headunit in my Porsche Boxster, I found out that the factory alarm senses the factory radio.  I've been told that there is a wire in the factory harness I need to do somthing with in order for my horn to stop honking after locking, and the factory alarm to stop going off..............  Can someone please help?????

What year, and what type of stock system did you have before the attempted install?

The wire isn't actually in the harness, it's in a small micro switch on the left side of the radio chassis. When it senses ground it sets off the alarm. The stock radio has a piece of plastic to keep this wire from grounding. Just pull off the switch and the wire and you'll be fine.
There is no such thing as free installation!
