I need a posative charge to flow to one side of a relay coil without negative feed back on the same line from the negative side of the coil.  If I use a diode to stop the negative backflow the same diode will stop posative flow from going to the coil.  What am I missing.  It is probably simple, but I am really struggling with this one.
