Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to connect this Commando RS-560 car alarm/starter combo http://www.commandocaralarms.com/manuals/RST-560install.pdf

to work with my OEM remote FOB. It has 3 buttons unlock, lock and panic.

I would like the lock button to arm the system and panic to start the system.

The car is a '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory keyless entry only.

Thanks for any help.

With no triiger wire, there really isn't a way to do this.  Bear in mind that when using the factory transmitter, you will only have about 50ft of range.  Installing the unit as a stand-alone unit is far better, unless you just want an ad-on alarm in which case you should just get a different model.

Thanks,

Will this Commando Pro-start 2300 work for what I want ? http://www.slickcar.com/manuals/2300manual.pdf

Commando alarms says it will but what wire would I connect to my factory remote door lock module so it will start with my factory remote fob?

Also are my door locks positive, negitive or reverse polarity?

Thanks again for any help.

If you just want an add-on i will sell you a commando EZ2200 which is the model they had before the prostart 2300.  They are great units, but the reason I dont install them anymore is becasue the antennas cause the range to decrease after time.  Very unreliable antennas, but you wont even need an antenna as an addon.  all you do for these is programm the unit for three pulses on the trigger wire so it doesn't start everytime you lock your doors and then hook your door lock wire to this trigger wire.  You will need a relay since your door lock wires are reverse polarity.

If you need a universal transponder bypass module I can sell you one for cheap and a relay too.  Let me know what you need and I will add it all up for you.
