Hi, i am putting in a set of boston acoustics sl60 components in kick panels in my truck with their own amp. I was wondering if it would sound better or worse if i ran those WITH a set of boston acoustic s65 twoway speakers in my stock door locations. so basically what i am asking is should i upgrade the door speakers and put in the component setup in kick panels, or just use the components in the kick panels or put the components in the stock door locations? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

In my experience using the kick panels only will yield the best overall imaging.

If you care more about loudness then imaging then you should go with the doors as well, more is not always better but it certainly will be louder.
