I started with the original speaker grills off the door of my 2001 Chevy Duramax. i glassed them out and sueded the top section of the door panel.

This is a full view i chose to put in Alpine type R components due to the unbeatable price of $110

A side view ... you cant see it but i also added 4 red led's on the under side of each grill that turn on with the press of a button on my CompuStar SS remote

My truck used to look like this but i got bored of all red so i decided to paint it myself at school. I shaved the tailgate and decided to go with a simple Red and Black 2 tone. the main reason i left it simple was because this was my first time ever painting a vehicle.

The Small drop line on the hood was a last minute idea I came up with right before I sprayed the clear.

While painting my truck i decided the interior dash pieces needed to be painted as well. the nice part about the silverado dashes is that all you have to do in order to paint them is sand them smooth then use some high build primer to fill in any small scratches left from sanding

I still have some work to do i i am planning on finding another set of the same bucket seats that are in front and putting them in back then katskinning all 4 in black and red with silver thread. once i get the seats i will build a fiberglass box through the middle from front to back including the 2 type R 12's i picked up for 75$ each and the 3 Alpine amps. along with a 14 inch touchscreen that will be hooked up to a computer with 2T of space hopefully i will have all this completed this summer!
also i will try to get some pics on of my current amp install i just hate taking the back seat out!

Nice work so far. Question ? Why on earth would you need 2T of space for a vehicle ? lol. I can't even fathom what I would do with that amount of space for a home PC let alone for a vehicle hard drive.
