Yes it will. The 1700G converts the negative pulse outputs from your aftermarket system into data the vehicle understands. The pulses into the 1700G can be from any analog source.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Thank you Twelvoltz, The DEI 1700G will do the job. I got one from a friend and before I connected and tested the Keypad I checked the leads for the door lock/unlock and they had 12 volts on those wires and most other wires also. I have ordered one and will post results in a week or so. Thank you again.

I tried another DEI 1700G with the Essex KE-1601 keypad and it was a no go. After connecting the appropriate wires, when I enter the ulock code or lock code on the keypad I see a a pluse to the lock/unlock wires of the DEI 1700g. I was thinking maybe trhis veh will not operate the door locks on pin #2 of the diag plug. Thanks in advance for any comments on this problem.
