Hey everyone

I have a Compustar alarm that I hooked a Asianwolf 2-window Up/Down Window Module up to. The windows were working fine like they are suppose to. (Up when grounded, Down on Aux) Then I rewired the module through the door (Before I just had it quick wired to see if it was working correctly. Now the Driver's side window doesn't work. The passenger's side works fine (both with the switch or with the alarm itself. ) so i unhooked the driver's side wires and disconnected them from the alarm and back to each other). I tested it again and the driver's window was working fine. (so now I know it is not the motor or switch, plus I just replaced this switch) Once again this is an Asianwolf module, so I figured it crapped out on me already. Was wondering if anyone else thinks this thing is toast before I go buy a 530t. I don't want to buy it if I could try something first that might fix it. I don't see how it could be anything but the module. Thanks

no love on this? i will try and test the module again with the drivers window on the pass. side of the module. is it possible for one half of the module to stop working? it seems like this is what happened. thanks

I also have a asianwolf windor module that I "had" installed in my 2002 cavalier. I honestly did not like it because my windows would roll up/down very slowly no matter if it was buy using the remote or using the window switch, So I went and ripped it out. Go back to the beginning and wire everything up again (quick wiring) to see if it works or not, but this time switch the drivers and passangers wiring. Do this to check if indeed something got messed up.

I will say that the problem with this economic window roll up/down modules is that they use some small relays insides and maybe this relay contacs are not so good and make a lot of resistance to the flow of the current.

I am pretty sure if you open a DEI window roll up/down module and compare it to the one you have, you will see it use bigguers relays and the traces on the pc board are thickers.
