stereo not turning on

i wired up my stero and its not turning on and there is a blue wire that is labled relay and i was wondering if that was the problem. also if it is the problem then how can i fix itstereo not turning on -- posted image.

well i thought i had it all wired up but it wont turn on so i looked at it more closely and there was a third wire that says relay control and i was wounding what i should hook it up to also if it was the problem?

You need to give us more info, headunit brand and model #, plus the car you are putting it in, make and year before we can help you

You need to give us some more info on the vehicle and equipment your trying to/have installed.
Did you use a aftermarket harness, or did you hardwire it? if so did you double check your connections with a digital multimeter? Was the previously installed radio working? Have you checked the fuses?
The only connections required for power on aftermarket radios are yellow(12v constant)red(12v switched/accessory)and black(ground)..the blue wire your talking about is usually used for either 12v amp turn on or 12v power antenna output

the harnes i am am using is from the sterro so i ges i am hardwiring it and the other did work but it got fried becus i had it hard wired to the battery and so i looked up on this sight and found the wire collers for a 94 ford explorer and it told me but when i tried to hook it up it wouldnt work and the head unit is a

aiwa cdc-z117
