Trying to decide between 2 Cadence WB124's or 2 Treo Engineering TSX10.44's.I know both are good but i am kinda leaning towards the cadence wild beast. The cadence seem to have some amazing specs. The treo's on the other hand come in a custom built box by treo themselves.I guess either way the sound would be pretty brutal.

Cadence:

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Voice Coil: Huge 3" Four-Layer
  • Impedance: 4 ohm Single Coil
  • Power Handling: 700 Watts RMS / 1400 Watts PEAK
  • Magnet Size: Double Stack 150oz. Structure
  • Frequency Response: 20Hz - 500Hz
  • SPL @ 1w/1m: 95dB
  • Mounting Depth: 7"

FEATURES:

  • Composite Kevlar Orange Cone.
  • Oversize Butyl Rubber Surround.
  • Light-UP Magnet Motor Structure.
  • Vented Heat Pump Basket Design.
  • Four Layer Kapton High Power Voice Coil.
  • One Piece Extended Pole Technology with Super Extended Motor Structure.
  • Tinsel Lead Woven into Progressive Linear Conex Spider.

The massive motor structure combines double magnets, sandwiched between two super chrome plates, and surrounded by a light-up aluminum helix. The flat progressive Nomex spider with integral tinsel provides precise coil alignment and critical cone motion control under high power applications. The cast aluminum basket is powder coated in a deep orange color and the edges diamond cut to a glistening finish. Gold 5-way banana binding posts are standard. CCT, Composite Cone Technology, combines a layer of Pulp & Nomex to a woven Kevlar substrate for added rigidity & dampening for the absolute deepest bass. The long throw design of the Wild Beast is well matched with the massive Butyl rubber surround which controls linearity. Optimized for vented SPL enclosures.

TREO:

TSX12.44 FEATURES:

From Treo’s website:

“Take all the virtues of the Treo Series subwoofers and top it all off with larger dual voice coils, double stack magnets, and insane power handling, and you end up with a Treo Series Extreme subwoofer.  It's what happens when Darwin starts designing speakers. The TREO TSX now features a silver powder-coated basket, a debossed TREO logo on the magnet boot, and a new wrap-around gasket with an aluminum plate with the TREO Engineering logo. Power handling has increased over thirty percent; the ten and twelve inch models now handle 400 watts RMS and the fifteen inch models now handle up to 500 watts RMS!”

Features:
