OK, I'm new to forums and new to fiberglass.

I want to know how fiberglass is attached to another piece of fiberglass and how it is attached to mdf board.

So, if i am making a sub enclosure with mdf for the back, bottom, and sides. And I want the top and front fiberglass. How is the fiberglass attached to the mdf board? Is it attached only by the staples attaching the cloth to the mdf? I'm just trying to get as much information on fiberglass before I start anything.

Any info and pics are greatly appreciated.

you staple fabric (fleece or even an old tee shirt if big enough...grill cloth works great) and lay on the resin, after that process..THEN you lay on the fiberglass mat/more resin..you can not staple fiberglass on it's own to MDF with any useful result.

Read " how to make a fiberglass enclosure." at the top of this section. It will answer and explain all your questions.
