05 camry spoiler light?

Hi everyone,

Not sure if I have the right forum.  I just finished installing a spoiler on my 05 camry, but not sure about hooking up the spoiler light.  I was told to hook it up to the 3rd brake light.  My first question would be should I just hook it up in parallel? I was also told the 3rd brake light has a sensor and I'm not sure if this would cause the sensor to give a cel?

Also

Would anyone know what this connect is for?  It seems to be spliced with the license plate lights. There is one on either side of the trunk lid.  I will test the terminals tomorrow.

Hi ,

I tested the connector today and it does show power when the brake is depressed.  Would you know where I can get the female connector for this? Or where I can purchase male/female connectors?
