installed bulldog 500 plus 555x to my car (99 toyota solara)but  can't program 555x to work,read and check wiring many times but won't work.its seem won't learning the code from the key(black key).when i activate remote start with out the key in ignition and i see the led from 555x turn on but when i tried to program  and put the key in ignition and activate the remote start and the led from 555x won't come on.whats wrong with that???please help.thanks

wow! sometimes it takes a while for someone who knows what's up to read a post...

I was going to suggest checking to see if the 555x was properly attached the GWR (-) wire .. glad you got it working with the universal module.

The search function is your friend.

True, i did a 555x on a 2002 Toyota Highlander and learned that the key sense wire was (+) So i used a relay to change the polarity and go it to program correctly even thought the manual stated it was (-).
