I was wondering if anyone can give me an unbiased opinion. I want to know if my 2 12" Alpine type r's, fully powered and in a small car (with trunk) are going to sound better than my 2 jl Audio W1v2's. I know there are a lot of variables with this, but if someone could just ballpark it, that would be great!

are you asking if they will be louder or actually have better sound quality? It all depeds how you are powering them and what type of enclosures. you cant just give an opinion based off the subs themselves.

Sealed enclosure, and overall quality, sound and loudness both. I am looking for mostly if someone has heard the w1's, and then heard some 12" r's, and how they compared.
