my dads truck does not have a keyless entry system on his truck. He would like to add one. Where can i get a kit that would give the parts and instructions i need to install this on his GMC truck

What year is the truck? This makes a big difference in the GM truck platform. The keyless module itself is not that critical, but how it is interfaced depends greatly on the year.

Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

im not sure of the year its a gmc cab over (matco tools box truck). It has no power accessories

Get a kit at several locations online:

1) Ebay (search "Remote start alarm")

2) www.autotoys.com

3) www.bizrate.com

4) www.google.com ... search "buy remote start alarm"

Wiring guides: www.bulldogsecurity.com, this site....
