Hey couple q's for you all..I have a set of kenwood excellon component speakers with the tweeters that come with and im lookin into customisin them into my front door panels.(93'Grand Cherokee Limited)

My question's are...

1}I have tweeters in the dash! Should I disable those if I want the new ones in the doors above the components seeing as the new ones won't fit right into the dash there would have to be more modifying done?

2}Running through the crossover that was included would i run the tweeter & speaker to the crossover then just the crossover to the stock speaker wiring?

and last off if you have any pointers on how to keep the modification as stock as possible could you help me out because otherwise im lookin to just fiberglass a section for it all to work out for me!!

thx for whatever info to anyone who can help me out

1) I would disable them (ie unplug them) to add the new component's in the doors.
2) Yes. The vehicle does not have crossovers in it.
Tip. If you are planning to place the speaker's in a custom setup, I would place them in the kick panels with the tweeter mounted right below the woofer. Ideally they should be aimed at the opposide side's B-pillar top.
