Hi everybody, I don't mean to beat a dead horse with the 05 Magnum post, but I had a couple of questions that I didnt see answers to. I saw that some of you all thought that a remote start/alarm install was easy in this car if you had the right bypass. What is the best bypass to use if you are completing this install? Also, do you have to get the tach from the ignition coil? The link to the 05 wiring diagram was bad and I only saw the 06. If anybody has the 05 diagram it would be great.  Any general tips or things to watch out for? I've installed systems before, just never in new Chrysler. Thanks for the help!

We use the iDatalink ADS-TBSL C2 along and then I wire up my door locks directly. Use the BLUE with the stripe at the coils on the dirver's side of the engine.

I use the Peripheral XK532. It does locks, security, transponer, second start/accessory, trunk/hatch release and provides door and hood triggers. Can't be beat.

On any of the mutiplexed Chrysler vehicles I do not like to use modules for lock & unlock..... too many problems. Easier to use relays + resistors.

I guess its a matter of personal taste. I haven't had any problems with the XK532 yet that involved locks.
