I installed one of these today and everything is ok except.... when the vehicle is running in RS mode and you turn the key to the run position it grinds the starter.
fyi it is a 2500 diesel mfg date 11/06
please help. appreciated in advance.

one more thing, Im using a "key in the box" transponder insteaded of the one on the chdl7 pk2. I dont think that would cause said problem, but thats why Im on here asking. thanks

How did you interface with the start/accessory wire? Did you use relays and resistors? It should only crank the starter when it sees 180 ohm resistance on the PURPLE / brown 2nd start/accy wire.  Make sure that turning the key cylinder to accy or run doesn't trip the starter relay again.

the chdl7 pk2 does everything. the install is easy. all you run to the ign harness is 3 wires. 1 data for locks, 1 for ist ign and 1 for the 2nd starter. what I think I might try is hook up a relay to isolate the key side of the 2nd ign from the chdl7 pk2 mod while remote starting/GWR wire. I guess it cant hurt. thanks
