I am installing an I Datalink ADS-AL-CA brand transponder bypass mod. I have it all installed and the flashing LED code is telling me I have the incorrect wires connected. I am almost positive the transponder transmitter and receiver wire are in the green plug at lock cylinder and the TX wire is white w/ green stripe and the RX wire is gray w/ orange. I tried to contact I Datalink tech support but they are closed for the week. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance!

You are correct RED / yellow is ignition, BLACK/ blue is ground, WHITE/ green is tx data, and grey/orange is rx data.

Thanks for the verification. This is one of those things where I have done this system several times. There must be a problem with the module because I am positive my connections are correct. Hopefully Tech Support will get back with me ASAP.

I have not had any data link products but with my brand there used to 3 different types of transponder by-pass units for Ford. Now they are all combined into one.XK04-PKFORD.I use to get applications sometimes when I had to go directly to the company to get the most up to date compatility.Sometimes also the unit did not have the latest software in it to work on the vehicle I am doing the install.

If you think the data wires are correct, check the power wires again.
The power and/or ground wire are suppose to be active at certain time.
how did you wire up the power wires (12v, ign, ground, or status)?
