Hi Guys
I can't program my passlock sl2. I purchased it locally and when trying to program it, i get to step 5 where i'm suppose to turn the key to ignition and the light is suppose to blink rapidly.
The light doesn't blink rapidly.
I know that this car is not suppose to have the "starter" wire from the alarm hooked up since it only uses the accessory wire to start it. Did i hook this up right?
I hooked up my accessory wire to the big brown wire in the car.
I hooked up my ignition wire to the skinny yellow +12 ignition in the car.
I think i might have the data wire incorrectly hooked up. According to the diagram, i'm suppose to cut the "white" wire in the steering column close to the key barrel and hook one end up to to the bypass and the other to another wire on the bypass. Did i get the wrong data wire?
Thank you.

well are you sure your doing the right steps. To me it looks like you have a good install. for the data wire you have the ORANGE / blk key side right? and you can grab your ground and 12 volts from the plug right below the igniton harness (2 brown plugs). if all fails get another passlocksl 2

"dont ground out!"

sounds like you have have the passlock ion the start wire from the alarm/remote start usually connects to a wire on the by-pass module

thanks for the replies guys!
So to confirm, i have the right data wire correct? The "white" one from the key barrel?
Also, i actually have to cut this wire right? One side goes to ORANGE / black and other goes to orange right?
I saw on bulldogsecurity that they have a relay for ignition delay and a relay for accesory drop out. I didn't hook that up because i thought my bypass would do all that. Am i wrong? should i hook it up? If so, how should i integrate it with my bypass?
Here is the relay diagram : http://64.85.6.129/extrainfo/diagrams/14301_COBALT_ACCESSORY%20DROP%20OUT%20CIRCUIT.pdf
Thank you for all the help. I feel like i'm getting really close to this but i think i'm just missing something really simple.

i also noticed that if i do the program 7 on the passlock-sl2 it seems to program properly but it doesn't start the car.
