i dont think so i bought the alarm 1 year ago off of ebay so i thought to myself that it was too long for them to cover it but i dont know if they would for sure.

If you bought it on ebay, even if it was under a year they still would not of covered it under warranty especially if you told them what you did.  Regardless, if you dont want the hasstle with the timer you can get DEI alarm in which it has validity that would work like a charm.
