hi guys - i've recently acquired a proximity sensor and want to wire it into my viper 5000. The front of the sensor has "clifford proximity sensor III" on it and the connector is 3 pins. The problem I have is that my alarm has 2 extra senor inputs but they are 4 pin connectors? can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

I thinhk 3 was digital, if not connect red-red black-black, join green and blue to orange. Will not show as adual zone(ie internal only, not external) with no warn away.

sorry - should have mentioned that I don't have the 3 pin connector for the proxy sensor, just the sensor itself so I don't know which wires go where, I'm going to try and bodge together a connector but need to know the connections (i.e. pin 1 red, pin 2 black etc.)

When alarm is connected and powered up, one the terminals (marked MUX)  sits on 12v+ and an other on ground, connect red and black to these two, then connect orange to either of others and see what happens, a,lternative connect to trunk feed on alarm (blue) and diode separate. Or, look at Viper manual, it might give you pin configuaration.
