I'm looking into getting a pair of these (JBL W12GTi MKII) because I can get a KILLER deal straight through JBL on some brand new ones, about a third the retail price.
Was wondering if anyone has heard this guy in action or has heard anything about them?
I would match the two 12's with the JBL BPX2200.1 amp, along with a heavily upgraded electrical system.

I have heard, from others, not personally, that these are solid subs. Get plenty loud and do it sounding nice. Also, they require smaller sealed boxes if I am not mistaken and that is always a plus.

Well I currently have custom fiberglass enclosures that I built pretty recently that are somewhere between 1.1-1.3 cu ft a piece. Was thinking about doing a dual 15 ported box setup but figured I'll just go with the boxes I have already for now and can always upgrade later.

I might have to mount them inverted or with some kind of spacer because if I recall correctly I had just barely over 9" of mounting depth and they require 10"

what is the space requirement for these woofers?
they are pretty deep - i'd favor building a trim ring as opposed to mounting them inversed - they will take up a crazy amount of space. especially if you have a VW w/ trunk

JBL does not have it posted anywhere on their website but I did a quick google search and they have it on CarDomain.com and it said 1.0 cu ft

So no one has heard one of these guys in action or would reccomend one? I have no way of hearing one in person and will most likely not buy if without any feedback.
