I was thinking of two different way to wire my batcap 800
1) have the 800 under the hood in the factory location along with the main battery. + of main battery to + of batcap, + of batcap to 0ga amp run. neg of main battery to neg of batcap.
2) Have the 800 in the trunk. + of main battery to positive of batcap. Positive of batcap to power distribution block. neg of batcap to ground distribution block, ground distribution to chassis ground.
Here's what the website has:

Wire it up like a normal rear battery setup. Wire the positive in parallel with the front battery. Ground the rear battery to the chassis (make sure the ground is good first)
Then wire the amp up to the rear battery and ground the amp

my batcap 400 is chassis grounded. Just like fig. 4 no problems. I called them to ask why they say not to do it this way, the guy said the chassis is not as good a ground as a ground wire back to the main batt. Well I didn't have 20 more feet of 1/0awg to go back to the front of my bronco. so I installed it the way I would any other batt. (your results may very) lol.
