I have to do a double din indash tomorrow on a 2007 avalanche, has anyone done this yet or even just and aftermarket deck, if so did you run into any problems. We use metra at the shop so hopefully the GMOS-LAN-01 wiring harness works along with the 99-3305 dash kit(with some mods done to it so it will fit the double din)
Anyways just wanted to know if there were any tricks, I heard that the blinkers were included in the factory radio ????
thanks

if you got the harness, in the instructions for it it will tell you how to retain the blinkers.  you have to hook up a relay to a couple of wires coming off the harness that aren't used.  the relay clicking on and off will give the noise of the blinkers.  other than that should be good to go, if you want try the 95-3305 it's metra's double din kit.  It's a lot quicker than cutting up a dash kit.
