Ok i have a Kenwood kdc-mp928 when only having the 2 power wires and the ground connected(which i have tested to make sure are right) the deck will turn off when inserting cd, connecting antenna or using auxillery with the built in amp, if i turn the amp off the deck stays on but i dont have the amp(which i want to use on my speakers for the time) the deck stays on while using the items previously listed.... also the deck has been sitting in a box for 6 months, no use until now but used 8 months prior to that. Is it done for? How can i test it? I would test another deck but dont have one.
thanks
Bryson
