I installed a Prestige 786 on on '02 Rendezvous. I cannot get the 555g to program the key. I tried two different 555g modules so I know it is probably the wiring. I also tried to program from different keys. The vehicle does start with the key in the ignition. When programing the light blinks on and off real fast but does not program. Can someone verify the wires that I need to be hooked up to for this thing to program.

Thanks, Chris

there should be a few small wires bound in some green tape , those are the wires you are looking for.   In a rendezvous you need to cut the pink wire and tap the purple wire

I  did that for both wires. I am pretty sure I have the right pink wire because without the 555g module plugged in it will not start at all. Does ti matter which purple wire? I also tried the purple wire at the diagnostic port, same thing.

it needs to be the purple wire in the pk3 harness, if one doesnt work try the other one, you can not use the purple at the OBDII port
