ok,i got a 07 dodge 1500 reg cab. im putting a viper 791 in it. im looking at tech tip 1084 and i understand everything except this. the acc/strtr wire will be distinguished though resistors. i hook the purple wire coming from the alarm to the wire coming from the starte relay(away from the keyside).i hook the orange acc wire to the wire coming from the acc relay.when i cut the ac/strtr wire in half, do i still need to hook the green wire coming from the alarm to the key side of the starter wire. its not being shown in the tech tip but i dont see how the car will start with out doing that.

I beleive you are confused.  You should use the small guage wires in the 4pin plug on the remote start relay pack.  The heavy guage purple and green wire goes to the main starter wire and not the 2nd starter/acc wire.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

the 07 rams do not have a 12volt starter wire, the green wire dont hook up, just tape it off, truck has built in antigrind from the factory and the PURPLE / brown in ignition harness cant be used as a starter kill, you have to go to the yellow/grey wire in the grey plug by the battery if you want to hook up staterkill, and they are wanting you to use the purple and orange wires off the 4 pin plug on the relay pack, and those relays they are showing in doc 1084 are additional relays that you need to get they do not come in the kit
