I am finally able to hook up my alarm and remote start however I am trying to use a 555L and its not reading.  Was wondering if that is not the right module to use, or if anyone has had any luck doing the remote starts on these yet?  Please inform me of the DEI part number i need or the wiring changes i need to make. Thanks

You can use the 555T as well, but the 555L is suppose to work too. When you mean it's not reading, what do you mean exactly ? The truck obviously doesn't crank over then if the bypass is not done properly. I suggest using the PLDATA for the bypass module ( 4 wires ) & alot less headaches.

The truck remotestarts and you can ground the wires on the module to make it work and start also , but not continue running.  This lead me to believe that I had the wrong one or mine is bad.  The 555L is a few years old, maybe it went bad on me.  What do u think?

Is is definitely a Passlock issue. I would try a different unit & see what happens.
