Well, the answer's simple. My trunk's too small for my new Lighting S4.15.VC2. How would I go about designing a box to run this woofer inverted? I tried to just delete all physical dimensions from the woofer in WinISD to trick it into not calculating the woofers displacement but that resulted in some craziness. So, am I hosed or can I design a box to fit and still sound good?

I am missing what the main problem is. Are you trying to build a box that will fit in your trunk?

Build the box to the same volume that the software tells you to, then simply glue or screw a (few) block(s) of wood to the wall, equivalent to the woofer's displacement. Done and done.

WinISD does NOT calculate driver displacement, even if you fill in the driver dimensions. This from the HELP FAQ file:

Q. Does WinISD add brace/driver/port displacements to calculated box volume?
No. WinISD doesn't do guessing, and therefore shows net volume for your box. It would be hard to predict, how you are going to mount your driver. Or the port. Or how much and which kind of bracing you are going to use inside your box. For example, you could mount port completely external to the box, which case "usual" guess would be completely wrong. Bottom line is, that you must calculate and add any displacements by yourself to calculated box volume.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
