I have a Bulldog 2030 Alarm in my 1989 Jeep Wrangler.

I bought a Dual Zone Radar Proximity Motion Sensor to add to this alarm.

This alarm only has three wires: hot, flashing LED ( when armed ), and antenna wire for remote.

No extra inputs for the two negative Vcd outputs from the Motion Sensor.

Is there away to get the motion sensor to work with this alarm.

The alarm has a dual shock sensor and current sensor.

Thanks,

Gerald

Wow -- after reading the installation manual --> absolutely not, you cannot add the motion sensor to this brain.

Sorry.

The search function is your friend.

Thanks for the responce.

Since the alarm detects current, the dome light will set it off, do you know of away I could connect the motion sensor to a relay or something where I could have the relay turn on a light bulb. I did noticed that the current from the two trigger wires was very low so it might not work.

Thanks

I'm wondering something...... Why are you using this unit?

This rig is an easy install (even for a novice) with a "real" alarm. You could without a doubt, do the job.

You have an excellent resource of technical support right here on the 12volt.

You are NOT going to be happy with the function of this alarm. It will more than likely give you loads of troubles...

I agree with KartuneMan.  What type of alarm is that????? Don't think you will be happy with this at all.  Try using a real alarm.  You have plenty of resources in this website.  Good Luck

You guys are right, it an't much of an alarm.

The jeep was up in New Haven  with my daughter for only week and had been broke into.

So I had this alarm sent to her cause it was easy to install.

Had here buy THE CLUB too.

I hoped it would do the trick, but they broke into the jeep again after the alarm was installed anyway.

It did sound off and they didn't take anything, but they left broken glass again.

Got the jeep back in TEXAS now.

I took the hard top off, doors off, and slapped on a bikini top. (feels good!)

I went to Harbor Freight to buy a winch the other day, and someone stole my broken walmart radio(damaged from the other two robbery attempts) The alarm went off, there were witnesses, and I'm so happy for them that they

finally got that  @#@#%& radio!!

So, I thought if only I had a motion sensor, the alarm would go off before the radio was ripped out.

Saw one on ebay: " COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY CAR ALARM" it said, only 16.99 free shipping.

You know the  rest of the story...

Well you can't really stop the snatch and run thief.  Alarms would not stop this from happening but if you get an alarm that has 2-way capability then at least it will let you know right away as soon as someone gets into your car(these alarms will send you a messege).  Also get a detachable face radio and TAKE THE FACE WITH YOU.  Some people remove the face and leave it in the glove box(I live in the Bronx, NY and see this all the time).  Either way, you can install the alarm as a project and if I can help in anyway just post it and if I know the answer I will reply. Good Luck

Yep, gotta cheap one with detachable face.

Fits in my pocket.

I just bought a bargon pager alarm off ebay, with a motion sensor.

May be contacting you guys about the install help.

Thanks a bunch for your advice and help!

We were laughing at work. I told them my luck I'll get this pager alarm

installed and my wife and I will be at the movies. I would have just got the large

popcorn and large drink, walking back to the seat, and the pager will go off.

Running out to the parking lot, popcorn flying and drink spilling...
