anyone install a double din nav in one of these

the dash opening appears to be 4 X 7.5"

so it should fit right in, what have you used to trim out the radio?

can a kit for and explorer/ranger be worked to fit?

looking at putting a avic-d3 in

thanks

Josh

it will fit but i think you have to cut some plastic out though. you may have some gaps on the side too w/o any kind of trim ring on it. i've done 07 and earlier escapes and used back straps to mount it in so that should work for the econoline too. i havent personally installed a double din in one but coworkers have.

thanks for the info, be installing on sunday,

ive done the escapes , cut the plastic sub dash , but always had a

nice finished look, no gaps.

i think on this van , if there are still gaps once installed, might try and work a dbl din

kit for the ranger/explorer for trim. ill post results.

thanks

Josh
