factory keyfob to arm/disarm aftermarket

Your best bet is to have the key made at a Honda dealership. The dealership near my house charges about $27 for a key without the remote built into it.

Why is it a problem to energize the transponder whenever the alarm is disarmed? If a theif got around the alarm its not that hard for him to provide power to the transponder and steal the car anyways.. I surely want to get another key that doesnt have the factory controls on it but I cant find another key that will fit the Honda Fit and has both a transponder and no factory controls on it.. I can find a key with no transponder or factory controls though..

you can avoid a second keypad for rem start if you use an add-on remote start and use the trunk release button for this instead of for the trunk.  you can use either the viper or code alarm piece but i would probably refer you to the viper as i believe it's a better product than code alarm."If a man made it, another can modify it...it just takes some thinking."
