Ignorance is bliss. That is why I have not ridden my friends R6. That way my sv650 is still the best bike in the world. If you like what you have then roll with it.

You'd like the SV better! kicker cvx 12’s good, bad? - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image. Don't let HIM ride YOURS!!! kicker cvx 12’s good, bad? - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I've heard a lot of kicker subs and I don't think they're terrible; although they certainly aren't unbelivable SQ subs.  As far as whether or not they're the subs you ought to get, that's really a matter of preference.  The CVX's have a pretty good range, play loud and have decent sq given how much spl they offer.  If you're looking for something that plays really loud with sounding awful, they are a decent sub choice.  But if you're really looking for a smooth, accurate, deep subwoofer, I'd give serious consideration tc sounds, boston, eclipse, polk, JL audio (to name a few).

yeah your right. JL audios do have deep bass. right now i have 2 12" Directed Audio and they bang loud and have good bass butnot like JL audios. My sister had 2 12" JL audio cheap subwoofers. The 200 watt newer ones in a big huge box and the bass was crazy. On top of that she had small tiny Alpine 300 watt amp..
So yeah, I'm going to get some JL audios soon. just hope the box I have now is big enough for them 3.o cubic feet

This seems to me, a bunch of biased oppinions on why kicker sucks.  To be honest, i have heard fosgate, lightning audio [Cheap RF as i like to call it] Kennwood, pioneer, alpine, JVC, Eclipse, infiniti, and a few german brands i couldnt even begiun to pronounce.  Hands down, Fosgate makes a better amp, always have, always will.  while the subwoofer can be argued about, the best value as far as kick your butt bass goes, would be a fosgate amp hooked to kicker woofers.
