Hey guys i wanted to know if anyone new how to make a OG ps2 work straight on 12volts. I know you can use a inverter but its being glassed into my passenger airbag cover and i wanted it to work straight on 12volt. Is there a thread or a site that would should me how? any help would be greatly appreciated guys Thanks :)

do some searches online for ps2 modding websites. I've done tons of mods for the xbox and 360, but not up on my sony modding.good luck

i found a dc to dc converter for the slim ps2. are you sure the voltage is 12v and not 8.5v? because if its 8.5v this will work ps2 converter. in the link provided select "Consumer Style DC/DC Converters" and scroll down till you see the converter for ps2.

Prove your connections, use a meter!

There is a ps2 car adapter kit avalible, (last one we used came from Futrue Chop). You can open the unit and feed it 12v, but for the $18 just buy the adapter.
