I searched every post and I am unable to figure out what wires are what. I downloaded the 2003 Radio circuit diagram, went to installdr and so forth and none of the wiring at the plug match?

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 (Manf dat 9/03)

Premium Radio, Infinity w/ Steering Wheel Controls

These are the colors on the radio plug:

(2) Green
(2) grey/red
pink / YELLOW
ORANGE / brwn
WHITE/ prple
grey
grey/brwn
grey/orng
grey/blue
dk grn/blue
dk grn/orng
dk grn/brwn
blk/grn
black
I am unsure why it is that it does not match anything I have found in searches, whether it be standard or premium. I need to run line inputs to an amp, what is the best way to probe the wires if the wiring does not match?
Any help appreciated.

Radio 12v gray/red  +  radio harness
Radio Ground black and BLACK/ lt. green  -  radio harness
Radio Ignition pink / YELLOW  +  radio harness
Radio Illumination ORANGE / tan (dimmer)  +  radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on dk. green  +  radio harness
Power Antenna N/A
LF Speaker +/- dk. grn/yel - dk. grn/lt. blue +,- radio harness or amplifier
Notes: The amplifier is behind the glove box.
RF Speaker +/- gray / YELLOW - gray/lt. blue  +,- radio harness or amplifier
LR Speaker +/- gray/lt. grn - gray/dk. grn  +,- radio harness or amplifier
RR Speaker +/- dk. grn/lt. grn - dk. grn/gray +,- radio harness or amplifier
I believe you have to access these wires after the amplifier...i.e. connect your LOC or the high level inputs on your amplifier after the factory amp.  The factory amp is located behind the glovebox, a little tough to get at, but it's there!

Thanks for the info,

Heres what happening and it is funny, in a way...

I went to tap into the wires at the rear speakers (Why not, only gurantee I had) and to my surprise, both LR & RR speakers have the same color wiring?

grey/lt grn & grey/ dk grn.

Am I in a bad dream? Why is it the simple things turn out so complicated..

But there's more!  I followed the wires from the rear doors in and at the pillar plug to the inside if the truck, it changes, only on the passengers side; the drivers door has the two combos coming out.

I went ot he AMP (They could have made it a little harder...) and I am afraid of the airbag, so I stayed away from the wires and reaching way in to the amp  with my face against the damn airbag.

So I am off to do the manula thing as described here ---> https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~74637~PN~1

Why can't you just use the wiring at the rear speakers?  Whether or not the wires happen to be the same color, is it not still a high level input?  Couldn't you connect your LOC there?  If you're really stuck, you could always just add an aftermarket CD player with Metra's 70-6510 amp bypass harness and make life much easier! 04 ram radio wiring unknown -- posted image.
