Motiontek 8000R Remote Start

Ok I'm certain that I have all the wires correct...but my alarm will set off even when I take off auto arm, unhook the hood pin wire, sensor, valet, and LED. It automatically locks itself and in about 5 seconds it goes off. On the remote it shows that the hood/trunk is open but I don't understand how that makes sense. Will someone please help me figure this one out...thanks!

Are there two separe inputs for hood trigger and trunk trigger?  Is there a separate door trigger input?

If not, you'll need to diode isolate both inputs.

But, I see what you're saying, if you've disconnected both the trunk and hood trigger, the alarm shouldn't go off.

trunk/hood are the same wire -- you said you disconnected the hood trigger, did you disconnect the trunk trigger?
