There is an electrical-worm-gear motor, that was made for the steering column. it looks like a medium-sized can, with a screw-type rod that comes out of the top, into a hole in the column. could anyone direct me in the right path?
It's better to ask a "STUPID" question...than to know a "STUPID" answer. :-)

sorry for the delay...
but my ign got torn out of the steering column, and i finished taking it out of the way. but what i would like to do is to be able to still lock the steering shaft without the stock plunger that comes with the ignition. a separate item altogether. i have seen the one i'm talking about, i just don't remember where.
it works sort of like an electric dead-bolt.
any thoughts??
