OK, first off you CAN buy a regular key for any car that comes with the key/remote combo so thats not an issue. I have never asked about this exact question but i WAS looking for a remote that was not 2-way to have as a back up on a spare set of keys i have. That way i could still unlock it/lock it/etc. without having my remote thats expensive and thus more likely for me to break. All in all you should probably just look into that hurleyloser. Although from what i read there isn't one out yet arm viper with factory remote? - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

I know it's possible to buy a key for remote/keyfob combos, like Hondas and Chryslers.  Just buy an extra valet key for the car.  I don't need one for my car though, It's a Nissan.  Yea I don't know of any basic SST remote as of now either, and I wanted to use my factory fobs because those I already have plenty of, no buying extra parts, and it has a nicer OEM look.  What could look more OEM than original factory equipment right?
