I'm wiring a new stereo on a 2001 Hyundai GL. Having trouble with the illumination on the stereo, not coming on. Any help is appreciated. All wires from harness are connected. Last stereo was stolen since then dome light, clock, and door chime is not working. Only thing damaged was antenna wire it was cut.

Did you verify that the fuses for the car are all good? If that many things stopped working, I'd go through all the fuses just to be sure.
Once you get the normal car issues fixed, then look into the head unit.

Dome light clock and door chime are usually attached to the same fuse as the 12v constant wire for the radio. Are you saying that you get sound but no display?
