sound problem

okay, heres my setup and what i did

kenwood kvt-717dvdhifonics 2006dinfinity 7541akenwood kgc-4042ai replaced the rca that go from the preout on the brain to the eq with a better one,after that i tried to keep all hu wires on the dash away from power and a/c ok...when i put everything back i turned the headunit on and everything sounded fine except for the subs they were not hitting like they were before i relaced the rcas ok so now i put the old ones back and now its the same thing!...the subs still do not HIT even close to what they did prior to this, i have even tried bypassing the eq and hooking everything up to the brain directly and still nothing!,i have all the settings on the amps exactly like i did before when they would hit hard and now even if i turn up the bass knob or boost i still get nothing, any help on this would greatly be appreciated...could it be the rca from the hifonics?could a voice coil be bad?

i replaced the rcas cause i had replaced the ones on the 4ch. a few months back with stinger ones ..

When you replaced the RCAs on the 4 channel amp, did you hear a difference?

yes, i noticed a difference i had a lil less noise but i changed those like 2 months ago the ones i replaced now are the one that goes from the preout on the brain to the preout on the eq

Maybe for some reason you are only getting use from one side of the rca jacks. Did you twist or bend on them or anything when removing that could of caused a problem? Plug one side in at a time and make sure you get sound from both the left and right side...
