I recently installed four actuators and a 451M in my car along with a Viper 791XV. The problem is the actuators don't unlock the doors. They lock fine though. If I try it with a drill battery, everything works. But I have the four relays' wires connected together (greens + greens, blues + blues), and if I hit lock on the switch, it works fine. Should I try another 451M, adjust a setting or what? I don't even hear the actuator motor try to click over with the unlock pulse.

I am a little confused a 451M is for resistor type doorlocks ie Dodge and Chrysler where they are a one wire set up that require a different resistance to lock and unlock the doors. If you are using aftermarket actuators the 451M is not needed. Just the supplied lock and unlock wires from your 791XV trigger the lock and unlock relays. Go the relay section of the site to see how to wire relays for aftermarket actuators.

Your 451M should be wired like that (reversing polarity)
Make sure all your doors are locking when they are suppose to.
If not, switch the wire at the actuator.
If your lock setup doesnt work, check out the Lock side of the relay. (same with Unlock)
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

could the unlock side of the 451m fried? one mistake i made was putting a 9.6V drill battery to the green and blue leads while still connected to the 451m (to test it), so maybe 9.6V went into the 451m and fried one side???
hell ya

Are you sure you didn't pop one of the fuses on the 451m?
