Hi all, I have an 01 Expedition that I did a remote start in, and I had no problems, I do not recall using a 3rd ACC wire when doing this, I installed one in a 99 Expedition, and the AC will not blow cold air until you get in and turn the key on, there is a 3 ACC wire which is RED / BLACK in the ign harness, does anyone know what this powers up? I have this wire on my 01 as well, but I "thought" that this powered the stereo, and the rear air., I thought that the 2nd ACC was the one that powered the AC. Please help.
Thanks

The gray / YELLOW and RED / black are required. As you found out sometimes one powers the fan and the other powers the condenser. The BLACK/ green is also an acc wire which usually does the radio and other random things. That's the one you may be able to get away without powering up depending on the vehicle and it's options.
