speaker noise

I am having a problem with speaker noise. i recently installed a new headunit, eq, subwoofers, four door speakers, and two amps. for some reason when i turn the radio on and lower the volume i hear some popping nosie and clipping noise, and in addition, when i connected the rca to the amp for the subs, i heard a popping noise, when i disconnected one of the rca from the amp the noise was eliminated, but when i connected the red side of the rca back into the sub amp, i heard the noise again. the noise throughout the door speakers continue. i am irritated by that noise. how can i solve these problems?

I am not sure what you are calling speaker noise.  Could you explain?   

What kind of radio do you have.

Does the "popping" really sound like ticking, if so does it increase with engine rpm? If so then it is spark plug wire noise or other engine related electronic interference. If you have hiss try turning down your gains, if it is whine check the ground loop possibilities and speaker wire routing if the whine goes away when you pull the rca then it may very well be ground loop. I just went through the 5 steps of H,, to get my system clean.

Take things one step at a time as for hooking up your equipment and listen I was routing all my wires under an amp tray in my trunk, it has taken time and changes to get the seperation and positions worked out.
