98 jimmy check engine with remote start

Ok I have a 98 Jimmy With a 791xv I have the by pass working everthing is gravy but when I remote start but after it runs for about 30seconds it triggers the check engine ligtht. I know with these vehicles you have to connect the third ignition to one of the other ignition wires. But even with that done the check engine light still comes on. anyone have any idea what it could be or what I can do?

you need to power the second ign white at steering column. if yow also powered the brown that is fine but you need to use a relay to isolte it dont just piggyback it off of one of the ign outputsSteve Sverdahl

what wire would be grounded when running?

would the neg trigger out of the relay pack to the alarm that puts out a neg trigger when the remote start is activated work? that what I tryed and it still through a check engine code.
