I installed a Code Alarm CA670 on a 2005 Pontiac G6. Everything works well on but the factory security light comes on and stays on if you start it with the alarm's remote start feature. Any ideas?

Yeah you didn't mention what type of bypass you used. One of the data modules or a key in the box type?

sorry.. it was a peripheral xk06 with the pkg7 flashed on it. the owner bought one from a company online, wouldnt program, he sent it back and got this one which programmed fine but now the factory security light stays on. everything works, just that is a nuisance.

ensure that it has been flashed with the pkg7 2.0 firmware you can also find a manual for this module at bypasskits.com
