Hey I just need to know something, what is stronger Carbonfibre or Kevlar? Some friends and myself had a disagreement on which is stronger. Can you help me by letting me know what is stronger and the benefits of one V.S the other.

Kevlar is- this is what some bullet proof vests are reenforced with

Carbonfiber is strong ,but only when compared to similiar material like fiberglass. The main attraction to carbon fiber over fiberglass is the strength vs weight ratio.

the only difference between kevlar and carbon fiber is the material itself.  kevlar is thicker than carbon fiber so that is why it is stronger.  the resin used for both is epoxy resin.  epoxy is much stronger than fiberglass and lighter as well.  epoxy resin is also what the carbon fiber, woodgrain, brushed aluminum...etc dash accent kits are made with.  hint, hint. $$$$$$$$$$$

see-ya
