hi all. i've got an boshmann 1xd monoblock that drives 2 pioneer 3004spl subs. signal comes from an boschmann eletronic crossover. want to know if i set the crossover on the amp to 150hz and on the electronic crossover to 60hz will the amp play to the 60hz or the 150hz signal.
Thanks.

The lower crossover will determine the signal, assuming it's a low-pass filter.

Yes its is a low pass. so technically the amp crossover and the electronic crossover should be on the same freq?

Use one or the other. Signal quality goes down by using more than one. I thought my bass sounded good through three (I know, rediculous!) until I knocked out two of them, it sounds much better now.

I recommend eliminating the external crossover, unless you're using it for your high-pass speakers (midranges, tweeters), then I'd just turn the one on the amp to 'full' or 'off' if possible. If you have to use the one on the amp, turn it all the way up (the frequency) and adjust the external one to your liking.

My two pennies.

i use the external for my high pass. its got 5 settings or signals. high, front stage, rear fill, mid bass and sub. its got a 10v signal output so the signal should not go down passing through it, not?
