my girlfriend just got a 05 Acura TSX and it has XM.  I was wondering if anyone has been successful with installing a siruis tuner in place of the xm tuner.  Thanks

Not without changing the OEM head unit. They're proprietary signals, radios, and controllers - everything, and you CAN'T make an XM tuner pick up Sirius signals, or an XM controller talk to a Sirius tuner. It'd be like asking an AM tuner to pick up FM signals, or asking my stereo to pick up Country-Western music! (I actually have all country western stations blocked from my stereos when I buy them! LOL ) All I'm saying is: It can't happen.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Maybe if you changed out the tuner and digital adaptor. I have not seen it for the TSX for Sirius yet.
There is no such thing as free installation!
