Focal makes top quality speakers, but be sure to listen to them with the kind of music you like before you buy as many people (me included) think they are too bright.

I suggest you do not buy audio equipment off eBay.

I went through their entire component line and couldn't get good imaging or midbass response out of any of them, with the exception of their 3-way set.   So I agree.

As a suggestion, try taking a listen to Diamond Audio components.  They are spendy, but I have been very impressed with the entire line, especially the D9 components.

I'll also add to David and Steven's comments, the MBQuart stuff as being too bright for my tastes.
Second-ing the opinion of the Diamond. One of the better across-the-line, off-the-shelf systems out there.
If you buy from an eBay seller, no matter WHAT that seller says, you will NOT have a Focal warranty. Period, and end of story. Now, if you want to risk parting with YOUR hard earned dollars, go for it. But don't say that you weren't warned.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Wasn't that impressed with the K2 stuff. Overrated in my opinion. Liked the Dyn 3 ways and the Elates and ended up buying the Lotus Ref.
